Diabetes Management

Blood sugar monitoring frequency depends on your diabetes type and treatment:

  • Type 1 Diabetes: 4-6 times daily (before meals and bedtime)

  • Type 2 Diabetes (oral medications): 1-2 times daily or as advised

General target blood sugar levels for most adults with diabetes:
